This Submod is designed to spread the difficulty/available abilities evenly across the entire walkthrough timeline.

In any global strategy, the difficulty gradually increases, trying to keep the player on edge until the end of the game. I tried to recreate this experience, not making the game easier over time, but rather the opposite.

In the original mod, the middle and late stages of the game became too easy.
The game has transformed so much that it's necessary to do something unprecedented in Shogun 2 – resorting to diplomacy.
It is recommended to play on a hard difficulty level. The difficulty level should be hard/normal.

Some tips:
Try not to expand too early or too deep into enemy territory.
Try to research technologies that improve your economy.
Keep your front line as narrow as possible.
Don’t attack multiple clans at once.


Through the picture, I will show how to build a frontline.

FL - Frontline
WR - War Reparation. This function doesn't exist in the game like in other global strategic games, but it can be recreated. This is what I call settlements that are not for conquest or expansion but for plundering. Remember, the AI has a lot of money, but you can't get it through diplomacy. So how do you ask for it? Capture settlements, loot them, return them to the AI, and let it rebuild them for you—then loot them again.

P - Puppets/ vassals. They are needed to shorten the front. They also help with troops. Remember, a vassal can create one-two army stacks with just one settlement. This will help you with defense.

A - Attack line. The AI can only attack me from two sides. All other sides are covered by vassals or allies.

I bought military aid from the Odawara clan for 12 turns of my budget. So for 12 turns, I will be sitting with a small income, but now the western front is secured by a powerful ally.
Remember, an AI ally will not betray you as long as you're fighting alongside them against one clan. So, make sure to form alliances, buy their support, and involve your allies in your wars if you want a strong alliance.
