Dimhall, Dwarven Necrologists

Description
Dimhall is a Late Age Dwarf nation whose halls ran dry of iron and fuel. They resorted to forging bronze armor and weapons, which lead to the discovery of thunder magic, which again lead to the discovery of rebirth through thunder.

The Dimhall Dwarves fight in dense formations of very heavy infantry. To complement their slow moving formations, they have unearthed ancient creatures and brought them back to life. They can also field sacred undead battlemages whose thunder magic can evaporate enemy heavy armor. For chaff they can cast Corpse Man Construction very efficiently.

Features:
Comprehensive nation and lore.
Original Dwarf units and names.
Sacred undead battle mages.
Dwarven smiths.
Unique heroes.
New battlefield spells.
New items and reskins for existing items.
New dominion effect/events. Dwarves are excellent at developing cave provinces.
Secret features for you to discover.
New summons:
'Dorfager' corrosive grenade throwing catapults.
Dorfenstein's Monster (thug).
A selection of ancient creatures (sacred) excavated from below.

Note for new players:
This nation is suitable for new players because it does not have any blood or astral magic.
-- There is one spell you should familiarize yourself with: The 'Twiceborn' ritual. --

Note for intermediate players:
This nation focuses on formation warfare and you should be comfortable with issuing orders to commanders and units. The battle mages don't cast spells if you issue melee orders to them, so make sure to only use advance-and-cast-spells for close combat spell casting. This is a limitation with the game.
Full potential of the battle mages is achieved through this order set:
[cast self-buffs, fly-and-attack single turn order, advance-and-cast-spells]

Note for advanced players:
This nation is a bit unique because it is strong early but viable late-game while not having access to astral or blood magic. There are a few global enchantments which will benefit Dimhall greatly, and you as an experienced player might know which ones. You'll have a lot of fun with this nation because it uses spells and mechanics which are otherwise rarely used in the game.

Note if you want to play against AI-controlled Dimhall:
The Dimhall mod contains pretender templates which contain powerful and fitting blesses for the Dimhall nation. If you want the Dimhall AI to not outcompete other AI-controlled nations, I recommend to also enable the Community Memes mod:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3148797231
The Community Memes mod contains pretender templates for all vanilla nations, which will make the AI generally stronger.

Armor 625 - 650
Weapon 1650 - 1670
Unit/monster 7500 - 7600
Item 840-850

Ok I will give the storm rider better map move and combat speed.

Looking good! But curious about the elder marshal and storm rider having identical map move rate, and elder marshal moves twice as fast during combat.

Is this intended, as my expectation would be that the flyer is faster.

Hi marauderB, it is a Late Age nation and it has a few strengths which allows it to fight against heavy armor.

I have updated the description, thanks for letting me know. It slipped through after I had to rewrite the description.

Thanks Kai - looks very cool! Which era is this (Early, Mid, Late)?

Thanks for the feedback. Note: I had to rewrite the description because dominions/steam deleted the description and replaced it with "dominions 6 mod"
