Description
Harvest The Vault for its metal
Make a house out of it
Throw the device like an icepick when things look at you funny
The device is in The Vault of all places, go find it

Notes:
Kick it to toggle snapping mode
Kick it when there's a mark set to clear it
Click on yourself while holding it to toggle metal extraction so it'll stop munching on the floors you just put down

I enjoy making mods that let you do cool stuff but integrated into the discovery aspect instead of right away, I'm glad you like it!

This is perfect! The exact mod i was looking for, some creating space, but you need to find the item and collect the resources. For me its perfect thanks for sharing this and all the work you might put in it!! :steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:

Update, I have encountered some strange cases where it really doesn't spawn and some cases where I find the item but cannot use it. I'll look into it when I have the time, though I'm unsure why it would be caused since the whole mod is pretty separated from anything else and shouldn't change based on other mods.

After some brief testing: It spawns fine in Nightmare, it spawns fine with Apotheosis, it does not spawn in NG+'es since it's only intended to spawn once and grant the tool once. But yes, as far as I can tell it's spawning unobstructed where it's supposed to every time regardless of map changes.

It should always spawn in the middle portal of The Vault. The coordinates never change, so it might be placed weirdly in NG+'es or nightmare, haven't checked. It'll still be there though, even if it's in a wall or something.

Are there incompatibilities to keep in mind when trying to find it? Like if I'm using a mod that makes nightmare have the normal map, does this mod disable spawning for it for nightmare, even despite that? Or with map changes with something like apotheosis... or am I just blind and skill issued hard enough to not be able to find it?

It's an inventory item, but it works more like a wand in the sense that you wave it around and click places. There was a bug that actually made it appear as a wand despite being in an item slot, but I just fixed it.
