Here in Denmark there are a few brick structures, Such as a Potato Sheds, Small Shops, And also a few Bunkers made out of Brick. Also if you need any help with information or just building, I added you on steam so just feel free to ask.

Visiting bunkers has got to be one of my favourite activities! It’s incredible to see all of the remnants of the war and to actually come close to feeling what it was really like. I’m from the UK, unfortunately, so 90% of our bunkers are barely larger than a Tobruk (usually made of pebble-filled concrete or bricks), and seeing those compared to R622s bunkers purely used for a *temporary* living space is extraordinary!

I completely understand your problem with the machine guns now!

One game I would recommend for bunker realism is “Gates of Hell: Ostfront” with the “Liberation” DLC, it was relieving to see so much detail put into Atlantikwall bunkers in a game.

I think you might have inspired me to try and make my own one of these batteries, probably based on the Kora- Karola battery.

@Modern Sugar

Yes. Its just about finding somewhere else on the map to place them, and me being lazy.

could the bunkers be used at other parts of the map?

The reason why i made the holes to be used by MG's, is because due to height of the stormworks character, i would have to make the holes a 4x4 hole, And that would look weird xD, But im glad you like it :D, And yea, it annoys me when people put MG's in a observation bunker. Also im glad you like it , it took some time to make. The project in itself is like 2 years old, most of the time have just been goin around visiting bunkers, and exploring them, and going to museums In real life. (I can propaply say ive been inside atleast 200 bunkers researching this, of course some of the same types), And in total ive been in around 400+ bunkers.

Just had a proper look at all of the bunkers, and I am more than impressed! It always upsets me when people do the classic "observation bunker full of mgs" take (like Saving Pirvate Ryan) when all of the other bunkers are just the "Longues-sur-Mer" type (arguably one of the most famous, so I'm just going to refer to them as that).

But instead you've gone all out! I love the tobruks, ESPECIALLY the way you've gone about the machine gun in the near defence position as you enter the bunkers (although I believe most of these on the real bunkers would have actually just been "stick your Kar-98K through the gap," when I got to the Radar Bunker and saw the way you've stepped the rungs of the ladder; I was absolutely blown away!

I was getting flashbacks to trying to map out German coastal batteries just looking at the ladder *alone*!

Incredible job!

Finally, another bunker nerd! Somewhere on my old laptop (also a laptop gamer lmao) I have the plans for the Danish S497 Fire Control Tower (two in the entire world, the one in denmark is slightly short than in the Karola Battery of the Ile de Re, in France), I'll see if I can DM you them if you'd like.
I found these a year or two ago as I am heavily interested in the Kora-Karola-Kathe Battery (an AA battery, M.K.B 2x Seydlitz 20,3cm turrets, and a H.K.B 4x 22cm and 1x 15cm howitzers).

If you'd like the plans I think I need to be friends with you, so I'll send you a request, it's OK if you don't want to anyway.

Awesome mod!

I live in Denmark, and iw as originally gonna make something that looked like the Danish part of the Atlantic wall, but i said screw that and made this based off the Regelbau's, the reason i said screw that to the Danish part of the wall was due to the fact of, Many of the bunkers out here, are under grass, and are hard to camo, Plus not all the bunkers sadly have plans, Sure i have seen the type's without plans In real life (As in a bunker nerd), but its hard to know what was inside without plans .), but im glad you like it.
