Third reich's light tank destroyer, the Panzerjäger 38(t) für 7.5 cm PaK 40/3 ‘Marder 38T’, also known as the Marder III M (in some sources), is a German self-propelled anti-tank gun based on the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) chassis, developed by the company ČKD. Armed with the German 7.5 cm PaK 40/3 field anti-tank gun, it was created as a continuation of the "Marder" series of tank destroyers.

Usage Tips:
This vehicle is a tank destroyer, so it should be clear that it is not intended for frontal assaults against enemy armored vehicles. The Marder performs well in ambushes, and thanks to its gun, it can destroy enemy tanks from several kilometers away.

Historical Background
This vehicle is one of the first projects based on the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) chassis by ČKD with a front-mounted engine configuration. It was developed as a replacement for older Marder and Panzerjäger models, which were often based on outdated or captured vehicles. Production began in 1943 following Adolf Hitler’s request to modernize domestic tank destroyers. The first serial units were completed in May 1943, and production continued until May 1944, when manufacturing priorities shifted toward the Jagdpanzer 38(t) and Jagdpanzer IV.
