FIM-43 was the first american MANPADS, it used an IR seeker that would look for heat signature but was prone to jamming by countermeasures, it needed to be constantly cooled which required a replaceable battery cooling unit that would be depleted in a short while, it was later replaced by the famous FIM-92 Stinger

Maybe just assign this animation as an animation of "equipping" and bind the sound to it? Theoretically, this does not break the logic of using such weapons.
