Welcome to Éirinn go brách!

This is a mod that provides for a much richer history to Ireland. This mod is FAR from finished, but is most certainly fully playable, with all main Political Paths completed.

Please, test the mod, and tell me what you think is missing, or where could be improved!



  • National Focus Tree for Ireland:
    Challenged by centuries of British Occupation, internal strife, division amongst her people, Famines and Widespread Undevelopment, Ireland's future is entirely dependant on you to shape her path forward and mend the centuries of damage caused to her. Deal with the Anglo-Irish Trade war, Battle the Irish Republican Army for Control and Seize and formalise 'All Ireland'.

    Ireland is presented with three distinct political paths to venture down. Continue with Fianna Fáil, Integrate the Irish Language back, strengthen the state, Infiltrate Northern Ireland and grapple control back. Fight the IRA and Dissolve their activities.

    Move with the Blueshirts, Crushing Liberalism, Breaking the chains of the past and right your revenge against the Imperial British, reforging the Celtic Empire of Ireland, seize the means of production, pick Ireland up, and send her forward; into battle.

    Align with the Socialists, Seizing the weaknesses of the West, and potential opponent to the Soviet Union; the United States of America. Grapple with Irish Diaspora and reclaim the lands that Irish Hands had built brick by brick.

    Or go back to your cultural roots, Embrace the Celtic Identity and forge the union. Install the High King Brian Boru... Or whats left of him... to the throne of Ireland and send her out to war.

  • Stronger Starting Position:
    Ireland Now starts with 4 Divisions, some trained by the vigorous 1916 Easter Rising, along with a series of new Generals and Admirals, seasoned with their experiences throughout the birth of Ireland.

    A small Fishery Protection Navy, Historically Accurate.

    Forge ahead with Ireland's own Military Industrial Organisations.

    Enhance your Government with increased Advisors.

  • Increased States:
    Ireland Now has an additional few states to play around with that more closely represent Irish States as they would have been in the 1930s.



  • UPDATE 1.2:
    Added a monarchist Branch [Please give me feedback!]
    Fixed focuses that targetted India since GoE.
    Added Resources back to Ireland's States.
    Reduced Military side of the tree's focus times.
    Changed a few focuses to upgrade the area type of a state.

  • UPDATE 1.1:
    Removed dependency on joining Germany / Soviet Union to continue down the alt-history paths
    Fixed Expand McCairs Company focus not working. [Thank you for pointing this out]

Update please I can't live in a world without an Ireland focus tree. I am in a state of constant depression. My soul is leaving my body and I don't know if i"ll be able hold on any longer. so please update it to the latest patch I beg you.

Love the mod but is there any change you could do a sub-mod without the new states so it is more compatible with other mods like EUYL?

For context, I am half Irish, half Japanese. I am not against mixing, nor am I a white supremacist. I am just fed up with the destruction of European culture.

America is a country of immigrants. Ireland is not. Ireland's crime rate is skyrocketing as well as the housing prices. Ireland is also veering away from Irish Catholicism and leaning towards Islam. The streets have more garbage, women and old ladies are being targeted. The children of immigrants are raised to hate europe and destroy the culture. They speak more arabic than Gaelic. In fact, some schools now have arabic signs under the english signs. ARABIC IS NOT A NATIONAL LANGUAGE OF IRELAND. I think we should all stick to the countries we came from, and we can experience eachothers culture through tourism. No need to stifle the native population and cause the destruction of an ethnic group (Celts).

You do realize the children of immigrants will be raised learning Irish Gaelic and English in school right? Or is the idea that you can be a different nationality than your parents something only New-World Americans can comprehend?
