Dugong Besar

- "Following the success of the Dugong-class submarine, the Dugong Besar was developped by seasoned captains, engineers and ex-military contractors of the Coalition who had firsthand experience with the Dugong's strengths and limitations. Retaining the familiar shape and maneuvarability of its predecessor, the Besar brings a host of enhancements to the table, such as an increased backup battery capacity as well as an emergency power saving mode for crucial situations on board. Not sacrificing necessary amenities, the Besar possesses an extra docking port at the bottom as well as all fabricator and deconstructor facilities, and an increased armament.

The extra firepower and additional features whilst maintaining some degree of performance comes at a cost, however: the reactor's output is not enough for both movement of the submarine and usage of its guns, instead having to rely on backup batteries.

Though not as agile as smaller submarines, the Besar offers a strong sense of security for those capable and experienced enough to deal with its shortcomings, and for those brave enough to journey into the unknown. The legacy of the Dugong lives on in this upgraded form, continuing to serve Europa's pioneers with steadfast notoriety."
