The Altian Police Service (APS) is the primary law enforcement agency of the New Altis Republic, tasked with upholding the law, ensuring public safety, and combating crime across the nation. Re-established in 2036 following the Pyrgos Ceasefire, the APS has undergone major reforms to modernize its capabilities and restore public trust. With a strong focus on intelligence-led policing and counter-insurgency, the APS plays a crucial role in maintaining stability on Altis and its surrounding territories.

The Special Police Unit (SPU) is the elite tactical division of the APS, specializing in high-risk operations, counterterrorism, organized crime suppression, and riot control. Formed as part of the APS’ restructuring, the SPU serves as Altis' primary quick reaction force, responding to hostage situations, armed standoffs, and insurgent threats with speed and precision. Equipped with decommissioned AAF weapons, and armoured vehicles, SPU teams undergo rigorous training in urban warfare, close-quarters combat, and counter-sniper tactics. Frequently deployed in collaboration with the military police and NAA special forces, the SPU is the first line of defense against internal security threats, ensuring that law and order are upheld in the New Altis Republic.

The Freedom and Independence Brigade agent is a state-sanctioned paramilitary force of the NAR, tasked with combating insurgency, organized crime, and internal security threats. Established in 2038 in response to the growing Agon insurgency and rising criminal activity, the FIB operates under the Ministry of Defense but maintains a separate chain of command from the New Altis Army (NAA). Comprised mainly of former FIA fighters, the brigade is a highly mobile, combat-experienced force trained in counterinsurgency (COIN), urban warfare, and asymmetric tactics. While the FIB agent primarily conducts operations in rural and high-conflict areas, it is also deployed in urban centers to assist law enforcement in major anti-crime operations Simultaneously carrying out the task of arresting AAF loyalists.
