Kunio

Description
Kunio is up for a fight!

Kunio is a rushdown character with no projectiles. He also has 8 special moves, 4 on the floor,
and 4 in the air.

If you want the classics NES feel, (or simply don't like the shading,) there is a button on the css
where you can toggle the shading.

--- Specials ---

Grounded NSpecial: Command Grab
The move is what it sounds like. You can do one of 3 throws when grabbing a player:
Attack - A simple yeet forward that has the greatest knockback.
Special - Throws the opponent upward at an angle. Deals the lowest amount of damage, but puts the opponent in a long period of hitstun.
Strong - A powerful slam that deals the most damage out of the 3, but also has the weakest knockback.
Each throw has a cooldown upon use. The cooldown will end early if another throw is used or if you are ko'd.

Grounded FSpecial: Lion's Leap
Kunio leaps forward with his hand back. When an attack button is pressed, Kunio will swipe his hand downward, briefly freezing him
in the air. Opponents cannot tech from this move, nor can they SDI from it very well.

Grounded USpecial: Dragon Feet
Kunio will spin in place to prepare rapid spin kicks. You can charge this move to up to 3 three different spin speeds. The longer you charge,
the longer you'll stay spinning. You can move and jump during the spin, but not while charging it. The endlag will also be longer depending
on how fast Kunio is spinning. A strong hitbox will also occur at the end of the spin, but only if the spin level is above 1. If you hold down
shield, you can drain Kunio's spin time faster, which is useful for trying to land that powerful hit at the end on an opponent, or when you
need to get back on stage (because you can't walljump during this move.) The move will also automatically end when parried

Grounded DSpecial: Signaling Hand
Kunio thrusts his hand forward. This move has no increasing knockback or hitstun, so it's good for comboing. But there is more then what
meets the eye for this one. If this simple hand thrust is parried, Kunio will counter that parry with a headbutt, which can kill at low
percentages.

Aerial NSpecial: Stalling Surprise
An aerial counter. Warps to the offending opponent and attacks with a furious spin that sends forward, but only if the hitbox hitting
Kunio is not a projectile.

Aerial FSpecial: Phasing Feet
Causes Kunio to dash forward in the air while holding down special. If special is let go, or Kunio dashes long enough, he will start
kicking rapidly in front of him before going into pratfall. Kunio is invincible while moving forward, and can also move up and down.

Aerial USpecial: Rising Fist
It's basically an extra jump with a strong hitbox at the start. You can also hold down special to make Kunio do a spin kick, but he won't go as high. Holding left or right while rising upward will allow Kunio to move slightly, allowing the spin
kick to connect the initial rise, or to just help with recovering.

Aerial DSpecial: People's Elbow
Kunio drops down to do an elbow drop. This attack has a sweet spot at the elbow. Kunio will also fall faster the longer he's in the air.
And the faster he's falling, the more damage the drop will do. Be careful when using this offstage, as you can't airdodge out of it. You
can walljump though.

Final Smash: Stone Hands
Kunio dashes forward, attempting to deliver a powerful punch on an opponent. If Kunio lands the initial punch, he will then use a flurry
of more punches, before ending off the attack with an explosion.

--- Other Things to Note ---

If you attempt to use FTilt after hitting someone with FTilt, Kunio will go straight to DAttack.

Kunio has 3 taunts.

Kunio comes with custom ai where higher levels will understand how certain moves work.

Kunio's expression on his hud changes depending how hard he's hitting someone or getting hit. Parrying also affects this.

Some of Kunio's alternate costumes have special sound effects to them, which are signified by an icon at the bottom right of his character select portrait.

I've never actually played River City: Rival Showdown. So most of the special move names are actually made up.
