Magnesium Reactors

Description
Adds Magnesium Reactors that use Magnesium Powder as fuel. Includes vanilla and (if you have dlc) warfare 2 versions of reactors.

Magnesium-Air Fuel Cells are a thing we use today to generate power, there is no reason we lost that technology 100 years later.

Carefully balanced as a mid game power source.
Blocks take power cells and explosives instead of reactor comps and super computers.
Max powers: 0.5, 10 (instead of 14.75), 12 (instead of 15), and 150 (instead of 300)
If Ice takes shovels, Magnesium takes a handful and Uranium takes a pinch.

Great for mid-game. Awesome for mobile grids. Nice on planets where uranium may not be available.

Enjoy, let me know if you have any questions, or suggestions. It's possible I might adjust the balance a little in the future, but its unlikely to get any worse or drastically better.

Love the mod and where it fits in the stack of power options.

Now if only Issy's Inventory Manager (an old but highly utilitarian mod) would stop trying to shove uranium in it because it treats this reactor like the vanilla Uranium Reactor... but that's a problem for IIM.

@Gerda Thanks! "If Ice takes shovels, Magnesium takes a handful and Uranium takes a pinch." It's technically 50x uranium. Uranium took pretty much nothing :)

what is the consumption of magnesium compared to uranium? is it the same? Nice mod!

@anzellott Sorry. It should at least be easier to find than uranium. If you're able to stop by a planet or moon ores are usually in a grid pattern so you can follow a line to the next set once you find 2 patches. Titan and Mars are the easiest to spot ores on. In space its just all RNG though :(

Magnesium powder is difficult enough to find as is :steamsad:

@RagnarDanneskjold If someone is offering for sure :) It would need to match the connection points and shouldn't be too crazy looking since the real world version is just a box with a lid. I'm most likely going to focus on the (compact) Power Cell Reactor next I'll see if I can get a more interesting model for that.

Do you intend to have custom models? Either of your own creation or by another modder?

This would be amazing to put on my ships. But I always have magnesium shortages because assault weapons pack ammo is expensive

Thank you and good job
