Description
🩸 Wounded Walk

Your injuries should slow you down. Now they do.




Wounded Walk alters your movement speed and visual state based on your current health in Garry's Mod. As you take damage, your movement becomes slower and more impaired — simulating the feeling of being injured or near death. Designed for realism, tactical gameplay, or immersive survival experiences.

When you're barely alive, you're barely moving.




⚙️ Core Mechanics
  • Dynamic movement slowdown – speed scales based on HP percentage
  • Fully configurable multiplier curve
  • Extreme slowdown at 0 HP, full speed at max HP
  • Visual impairments at low health




🧪 Visual & Audio Effects at Low HP
  • Screen desaturation (grayscale)
  • Motion blur
  • Pulsing blur + heartbeat
  • Camera swaying
  • FOV adjustment (optional)
  • Blood spill effect
  • Dizzyness distortion

All effects trigger dynamically as health decreases.




🛠️ Customization

Accessible in:
Utilities → Nai's Addons → Wounded Walk

  • Minimum Speed Multiplier – speed at 0 HP (default: 10%)
  • Maximum Speed Multiplier – speed at full HP (default: 100%)
  • Reduction Curve – controls how speed scales (linear by default)
  • Reset Button Included
  • FOV effect toggle – off by default due to compatibility

Settings are saved automatically via ConVars.

⚠️ Notes
  • May conflict with other movement or visual effect mods
  • Motion blur on very low HP can impact performance – adjust accordingly
