Dominions Reworked: Items

For optional use with the Dominions Reworked mod pack. This mod is designed to make more items viable and to not gate so many artifacts behind research level 9.

General Changes


Many items have had their price reduced by a significant amount. Already powerful items, resistance items and spellboosters have usually not had their price reduced. Items have had some abilities added- mostly in the form of ‘+Elemental Power’ for thematically appropriate items- to be used for elemental summoning in the Dominions Reworked: Magic mod.

Stat Changes

Body Armor, Shields and Helmets and prot raising misc items all add HP based on the construction level of the item, and what kind of item it is. This is to allow more fragile units to safely ‘thug’ even non mage human commanders etc.

Body Armor is generally 2x the research level (half for ‘light’ armor like robes etc)
Shields are generally 1x the research level
Helms are generally 1x the research level
Crowns are generally 0.5 the research level


No longer unique items
The Bell of Cleansing is now a level 7 construction item and no longer unique.
The Alchemist’s Stone is now a level 7 construction item and no longer unique

Level 3-7 Artifacts
Many unique level 9 artifacts have been placed in lower construction levels. These all have the word “(Unique)” at the end of their names so you can differentiate them.
