This is a very simple addon made in an afternoon by a guy who knows almost nothing about programming and AI help, as the title says this addon works for most NPCs based on DrGBase it should work with most of them.

Just approach the NPC and press key L

You can unbind this key if you want and put another one, to do so type:

npc_follow_disable_default

(to unbind L)

npc_follow_enable_default

(to bind L again)

bind [key] npc_follow

(to bind any other key)


Features:

- The NPC will follow the player
- The NPC does not need a navmesh to follow the player
- It should only attack enemies if they attack you first (there are still many bugs in this point)
- If the NPC moves too far away from the player it will automatically teleport close to the player
- The addon makes the NPC detect differences in height between the player/NPC correcting that difference by teleporting to the same level as the player (It also has some bugs in this point)

Q&A:
Will you fix the bugs?
A: As I said, my programming level is much lower than that of a beginner, so I don't know how to fix most of the bugs in the addon.

Do you give permission to modify the Addon?
A: Absolutely, as I said, I used AI, I'm not very proud of this work, but since I saw that no one had done it, I did it one day with the help of AI, and since it is not copyrighted, there is no problem if you decide to take the work I did and improve it and/or change things. (If you do, please let me know, I would love to try this addon made by a real programmer)
