Description
They're shelling us!
Having survived an attack on a Resistance outpost, Gordon Freeman sets out to take out the Civil Protection's headcrab launcher.

Features

- Takes place in an abandoned water treatment facility in City 17's canals
- Short, linear map
- Heavy focus on Gravity gun
- Zombies, manhacks, metropolice

Background and thoughts

This is the first in a series of four singleplayer maps I started and left unfinished in 2022, each with a unique color, theme and approach to gameplay. This map was "blue, canals, gravity gun". The main aim of these maps was to improve my skills so I could eventually create a mod that I'd be truly proud of.

really neat map ngl i like the reliance on the gravity gun but that part that you jump on the metal was kinda wonky tho

I particularly enjoyed the reliance on the Gravity Gun. It made for a unique challenge.

Good map. I think a lot of modders think you have to bring in the striders, hunters, overwatch elite, etc. But sometimes just zombies and metro cops are all you need.

i like this quite a bit but i find the final area with the metro cops shooting you from far away a bit frustrating, but its only a small gripe for what is a really well designed map, definetly worth trying!
