Born into a high-ranking Soviet family, Konstantin grew up in the lap of luxury, but his world crumbled when the Soviet Union collapsed in 2022. His family, well-versed in state secrets and with knowledge considered dangerous to the new government, was forced to flee Russia. They escaped to the U.S.

As he grew older in the States, the true horrors of the capitalist system began to dawn on him. At 18, he began to see the rot of the American empire, the greed, and the exploitation. His views became more radical, and by his 20s, he was a member of a radical Marxist group in California called Iron Coast Collective (ICC), hell-bent on shaking the foundations of the American corporate machine.

He participated in protests, organized small student groups to discuss socialist theory, did drugs, and attended nightclubs. His father, Anatoly Ivanov, was furious when he found out. The tension between them grew unbearable. Anatoly saw his son as a naïve idealist, throwing away the safety and success he had worked so hard to secure. Konstantin saw his father as a sellout, a man who had betrayed the Soviet dream for a comfortable life.

His father, desperate to reign him in, gave him an ultimatum: abandon the ICC or be disowned. Konstantin chose the ICC without hesitation. True to his word, Anatoly disinherited him, transferring the family fortune to Konstantin younger brother, who had dutifully followed the path of corporate servitude.

Freed from any familial obligations, Konstantin fully immersed himself in the ICC, which had grown increasingly militant. The group began targeting corporate infrastructure—blowing up power stations, derailing supply trucks, violent riots, and hacking corporate servers. Konstantin role evolved from a foot soldier to a planner, and eventually, a leader.

The final break came during the Boltec bombing, an operation Konstantin planned with chilling precision. Though the group intended to sabotage the building and send a message, the resulting casualties—over 3,200 dead—were far beyond what Konstantin had anticipated.

Boltec's agents—highly-trained assassins, military operatives, and corporate mercenaries—began hunting down members of the ICC one by one. The collective’s communications were swiftly intercepted, and their safe houses, once considered impenetrable, were breached with terrifying efficiency. It took only a few days for the ICC to be completely annihilated by Boltec and its agents.

Realizing his life was in danger, Konstantin fled America, first by sea to Europe and then on foot to Eastern Europe, where he eventually crossed paths with the Black Dawn Collective (BDC). The BDC recognized Konstantin potential and his ruthless past. Despite initially rejecting their anarchist ideology, Konstantin, a pure Marxist, found that there was a common enemy in the capitalist and imperialist systems they both despised.

Eventually, Konstantin joined the BDC as an urban guerrilla, quickly rising to command the elite forces of the group, those who shared his vision of a return to the Soviet Union and the downfall of the capitalist powers. Konstantin is cold, calculating, and methodical. He believes in the cause with an almost religious fervor, and while he may not agree with all the anarchist ideologies of the BDC, he fights for a common goal.
