Castiel IO-2 Deep Maintenance & Repair Submarine

Description
The Midget Repair and Maintenance submarine Castiel IO-2 is a newer, smaller, and easier to operate upgrade to the underwater IO maintenance submarines. Thanks to the onboard diesel generator, Castiel can operate for hours and recharge its batteries while on the move. Additionally, along with its electric motor Castiel can utilize its diesel generator to propel itself without the assistance of motors. Castiel is also equipped with large onboard air supplies which enables its diesel generator to run underwater as long as the air supply is available.

Castiel is small enough to spawn everywhere, including starter workbench.

OPERATION

1) Diesel Generator

-The diesel generator charges the battery bank. Turn on the Fuel, Coolant, Exhaust & Air pumps and hit ignition. The diesel generator runs at full throttle but can be throttled down if desired.
-The diesel generator can run underwater as long as there is compressed air supply. When running, the diesel generator charges its compressed air while on surface & consumes it while underwater. (Note: compressed diesel generator air supply and the compressed ballast air are stored seperately and charged seperately.
-Engage the generator clutch to charge batteries.
-Diesel Generator can also be used to propel the submarine without electric motors. Turn on "Switch To Direct Diesel Drive" key to use the diesel engine as the main drivetrain. 4/5 keys control the diesel engine throttle.

2) Electric Motor

-Electric motor is always on if the main breaker is on. Throttle is UP/DOWN keys.
-Vessel can maintain 23 knots and not drain battery while the diesel generator is running and the throttle at 0.175. Throttling more than 0.175 starts draining the batteries.

3) Maintaining Battery level / Ampere Dial

-Castiel features a "Battery Ampere - Gain/Consumption" dial. With this dial operator can see how much power is getting drained (by the electric throttle or hydrophone) or how much power is getting charged with the generator. Thanks to this dial operator can micro-manage the power consumption/gain and set the submarine's electric throttle at a rate that doesn't drain any battery when the generator is running.

4) Ballast Tanks

-Bow and Stern Ballast controls are located on the right of the control station. Simply flood the ballasts evenly to the red line for neutral buoyancy. The more diesel fuel consumed, the more ballast is needed.

5) Maneuvering Mode

-Maneuvering mode enables Castiel to maneuver itself underwater with precision with the help of vertical and horizontal maneuvering thrusters.
-To switch to maneuvering mode, come to a complete halt and turn on the "Maneuvering Mode" switch.
-In Maneuvering Mode:
a) A/D rotates the vessel left and right on the spot.
b) W/S is forward and backward (hold).
c) Left/right keys are strafe.
b) Up/down keys are vertical movement.

Note: to position yourself with precision, only tap the controls when in Maneuvering Mode.

I recently reinstalled the game (last I played was about 5 years ago) and tried a bunch of submarines off from workshop.

This one has so far been the most fun to use due to simplicity and functionality.
My only wish with this submarine is to have a more spacious version of it so we can walk upright.

That said, this version of the sub is still great at what it does and offers!

@Urbanicus are the pumps on?

Diesel air supply does not seem to be charging while on surface.
