Description
in 1979, SHIELD of America needed a few stepvans for their transportation fleet since they were moving their headquarters to Ontario, Oregon. So they called up LMC and asked if they could borrow a few stepvans for their fleet, which LMC had agreed to -- and thus, the SHIELD Vienna was made.

The 1979 SHIELD Vienna was a simple facelift of the LMC, which also included a wheel swap and a bumper swap to differentiate the Vienna from the LMC, this proved successful as the SHIELD Vienna was seen as their own vehicle which people oddly praised, mainly for the reliability it had since it had a diesel I6 which was tailor-made to never break. SHIELD and LMC shared the profit of the Vienna alongside the LMC Stepvan, which both proved to be rather successful, but as LMC discontinued their stepvan -- SHIELD wanted to make more of this stepvan as it gave them plenty of benefits.

CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
Laffey: the OG LMC stepvan
Beaver: the P30 -- which this was built upon
Lumitic: extra bits

The real question is if I should ask the question of what's with the Decimate Drive vibes.

I'm gonna run away really far now.
