Description
Original Mod by OwlChemist. This is an altered version previously for my own use, but every man and his dog is updating his stuff now I figured I'd upload this as an alternative. I have kept the original packageID for save compatibility. This means you will need to unsub from Owlchemist's version. Fear not, I flagged them as co-author of this one.

1.4 and 1.5 version of OwlChemist's Simple Utilities Wall with the following changes:
-Fixed descriptions on lighting, and added specific detail.

-Added research requirements for Industrical (electricity) lighting.

Fencepost Lamp is locked behind Electricity research.

-Changed Fencepost Chemlamp graphic

This was changed to match chemfuel lighting in the mod Thermoregulation. Please note, for Chemfuel wall lamps, you will need Thermoregulation, as I did not wish to duplicate them here.
The Chemfuel Twinlamp Eco is fitted into the wall, and illuminates both sides.
.
For 1.5

-Multiple changes to the wall heater:

Now uses the 1.5 mechanics Placeworker_AttachedtoWall, allowing it to be set as an attachment. The wall heater will now auto-rotate.
The wall heater now requires microeletronics research to unlock.

-Added new spacer lighting tech

Spacer tech lighting is twice as efficent as Industrial tech lighting. There is a wall mounted light cell panel which auto-rotates, and a fence mounted light cell lamp. These both unlock late game, and require microelectronics research. The light cells use approx half the power as industrial lights.

Not a fan of assemblies and at this point, the only items that still require them here are the fence lighting. Couldnt' figure out a way to get them to sit on the fence without it since there are no vanilla fence options other than gates, and that would be weird:/

Please note that in 1.5 Thermoregulation's chemfuel wall lighting was rebuilt as an attachement, is now single sided, and auto-rotates!

@Samuel_Bucher - Fair enough. Not sure when that got broken, since no one has mentioned it until now. My bad, I don't really use that stuff. I have fridges and fans and stuff from my other mods XD

Anyway, I have changed up things a bit. Given that I also use Replace Stuff , I have added a patch to gate that mod's "over wall cooler" and "over wall vent" behind Microelectronics to coinside with the wall heater from here. I replaced the graphics with the ones previously used for cooler and vent in this mod. Vanilla vents and coolers have been reverted, but I made replacement graphics for those so they match up with the over wall ones.

This was the quickest way to deal with this issue, and also fixes the otherwise redundant cooler and vents having both mods ends up with.

I have run the mod by itself. Nothing but Simple Utilities: Wall Adjusted, Harmony, and all the DLCs. I can't place the cooler and the vent unto a wall or by itself. It just says "Must be placed on a wall and facing a clear space". Regaring the wall heater, the wall light panel, and the fence post lights - those all work just fine. Do the following to replicate my situation:
1) Run the game with only Simple Utilities: Wall Adjusted and Harmony. DLCs are not a factor.
2) In a dev test world, either find a ruin wall or god-mode build a new one.
3) Try to place the cooler or the vent over it and observe the fact that that's not possible.

@Samuel_Butcher - The mod works fine, it's just you.

I have a ridiculous number of additional mods, and it's working fine. The likelihood is that you either misunderstand how the mod works, or have some other mod that is causing an issue for you.

Regarding the former:

You state the wall utilities can't be placed, but this mod adds only the wall heater, and wall light panel, both of which require Microelectronics to unlock. The remaining additions are fence post lighting, and those are mounted on fences, not the walls.

Naturally, both walls and fences have to be built before these items can be place - one can not place them on a planned wall/fence.

Regarding the latter:

Run the mod by itself and you'll see it's working as intended. Go through your mod list and see which mods are likely to cause an issue. Test again until you find the culprit.

This mod doesn't work. The wall utilities it adds can't be placed on walls, or anywhere. And if you also have Replace Stuff running along with it, that mod's wall utilities can't be placed, either. The ones from Vanilla Temperature expanced are not affected, though. As things stand, this mod is unusable.
