Description
A series I would have never thought I would do, a single locomotive lifespan where it shows all the railroads that specific locomotive use to work and having the variations of the locomotive go by the railroad it was working with (or sometimes when it was freshly painted, and Outdated look.)

History
KCT (Kansas City Terminal) 73 was 1 of 10 (70-79 for the numbers) SW1200s that the KCT had. All the SW1200s for the KCT was built in June of 1964 and were order 4463. The KCT were different than any other railroads not just because of the paint scheme, but because they have tarps on most of the locomotives above the grill. KCT 73 worked on the railroad until 1994 were it worked at the Michigan Shore Railroad Incorporated. In 2000, it was acquired by RailAmerica but still had a decal of RailTex, a short line company that was acquired many rail carriers in 2000. In December 1st, 2006, MS 73 had a minor derailment on a snowy day while pulling 2 CSX hoppers. The derailment wasn't really documented since it was just a minor derailment (only the rear truck of the locomotive and the front truck of the hopper derailed) so the cause of the derailment isn't really known but its most likely the snow and ice that was on the tracks. The damage on the locomotive was the rear right of the steps and somehow during the re-railing the locomotive, the right side window also got damaged. Somewhere in 2007, MS 73 got yellow conspicuity tape on the side of the frame. The Michigan Shore railroad was bought out from Genesee & Wyoming but MS still had its MS paint scheme and never patched over. MS 73 continued to work on the railroad until 2014? when the locomotive was repainted and went to the Mid-Michigan Railroad. It didn't last long since in 2015? it was sold to RLIX (Rail Link Inc or Garvey International Incorporated Garvey Grain Division.) Not a lot is known about the locomotive but some people think it was either scrapped or in storage. Its most likely its in storage since Rail Link Inc has other SW1200 and some are in service.
