Description
This mod reworks the Inca, allowing them to move, settle and build on mountains

Requires 👉 Various Mod Components 👈

You may notice the game reloading immediately after loading into a saved game... this is intentional and necessary to update terrain graphics

Trait Changes
  • Removed previous Inca traits
  • Workers and settlers start with "Altitude Training", allowing them to freely cross mountain tiles
  • Settlers may found cities on mountain tiles (that aren't completely locked in by mountains)
  • Workers may construct road/railroad on mountains
  • Road/railroad allow passage over mountain tiles for all players, but do NOT remove attrition damage
  • All Inca land units start with "Blessing of the Apus" promotion, removing attrition damage from mountains

Terrace Farm Changes
  • Can also be built on mountains and will receive +1 food from being on a mountain tile
  • Build time increased by ~30%

Slinger Changes
  • Removed "Withdraw Before Melee" promotion
  • Added "Lightweight" promotion, giving double movement on hills and the ability to move after attacking

Mountain cities can be attacked and taken by other players. They will not receive attrition damage from the city tile

PS: I recommend going for "Home of the Gods" pantheon (+1 Culture & Faith from mountain tiles)

Compatibility

Requires a DLL, and therefore can't be used on multiplayer or with other DLL mods

@[PIGZ]MrTango There is no inherent bonus, mountain cities act like hill cities. But they can be placed so that they are very hard to attack, due to the surroundings mountains

I haven't tested with that mod
