Sticky Note Guy

Sticky Note Guy joins the Fray, he is a character entirely stop motion animated out of cut up sticky notes with the additional challenge of all his attacks must use random objects I have around my house, and is also a strong showcase of this games strength of artstyle diversity, also I hand drew all the non global smears/VFX with maker because screw it why not

Ok the actual fighter, Sticky Note Guy is a slowish semi-heavyweight (115) who is just plain really weird, with stuff like Dtilt (Scrub Downtilty) rolling you off ledges, to a command grab sloth Upstrong that if you miss he still attacks anyway, to Ledge attack making you jump above the ledge and then come crashing down with a Face Mask, all around just a very odd fighter but its time to get on to the most important part, the specials (Also watch the Moveset video above to learn more)

Also the amount of stickys on the image is wrong its 120 now



Tosses a weak and floaty sticky note projectile, can be good for stage control but is mainly here as a combo tool, the Sticky Note will have one out of alot of doodles on it, they dont do anything but they give the move more personality which is pretty neat (the doodle in the gif comes from a Scratch game I made)

Hop on a squid that flys up into the air, you can slightly change its direction pressing left or right, press shield while on it to hop off early which puts you into freefall, its best to do it right below the ledge, while the recover covers alot of distance you are also very vulnerable during it

Take out a Paper Fan that has 3 levels of charge, charge 1 is a weak hit that basically does nothing, 2 is a Semi Strong hit with a low range windbox that charges pretty quickly, 3 is a Really Strong hit with a large windbox that has a somewhat slow charge time, the move can be used on the ground and the air but while in the air you can move during it which means you can jump at people who are recovering or just in the air to try to hit them, its fun.

It was supposed to be surfboarding but turned more into skateboarding but whatever both are cool



The anti-Smash player move The most complex move in the moveset, hop on a bar of Soap which makes you move but you lose the ability to attack normally, but the Soap bar has a hitbox on the front while riding on it so you can still hurt foes while riding it
Jumping during the move makes you jump a good bit up but if you land on someone you bounce off them making you jump again, using the move while in the air will make it jump automatically
Pressing attack will make Sticky Note Guy kick the Soap Bar which makes it a fast moving projectile that slides across the stage but puts the attack on a bit of a cooldown (not shown in the above gif)
Press down or jump when in the air to get off the Soap Bar, the soap bars jump can also be used as a safer recovery option

Thank you for checking him out like subscribe yadda yadda yadda do whatever you want but I spent alot of time (Like 4 and a half months I think im too lazy to math correctly) on this Fighter to make sure he is the best he can be so like doing the above stuff would pretty cool and probably make me feel the happies, but at the very least, thanks for checking out this steam page or trying out the fighter if you do
