FT36HCW-2 Class7000 Bongo

7000호대 디젤기관차는 한국철도공사의 여객열차 견인용 디젤전기기관차입니다. 새로이 제작된 유선형 새마을호의 전용 견인기로서 1986년부터 2년간 도입되었습니다. 대한민국의 여타 디젤 기관차와는 달리 최초의 유선형 디자인으로서, 승합차와 모습이 비슷하여 봉고라는 애칭을 가지고 있습니다. 현재는 전량 퇴역하였습니다. (출처 : 위키백과)

The EMD FT36CW-2, classified as the Class 7000 locomotive under Korail, was a Korean semi-high-speed diesel–electric locomotive. It was built to make the Saemaul Class trains more streamlined before the 1988 Olympics. The locomotives were built between 1986 and 1987 and were all retired between 2011 and 2012 when they reached the end of their 25-year lifespans. (Derived from Wikipedia)
