Barcelona Metro Series 2100

The Barcelona Metro Series 2100 trains are a fleet of modern, high-capacity electric multiple units that serve Línia 4 (L4) of the city's metro network. Manufactured by CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles), these trains were introduced from 1997 to 2001 to replace the aging Series 1100 and 1000 models.
A key aspect of their design is the continuous gangway connection between cars, allowing seamless movement inside. The large windows and bright interior lighting enhance the travel experience, while lightweight materials and energy-efficient systems contribute to sustainability.
