Finally the Uniforms and Heraldry of the Beastmen III is here!

This is a graphical mod that changes appearence, in a more lore-friendly way, for some units, exspecially the shielded ones.
With this mod I re-worked and worked from scratch a lot of textures adding tons of variants referring always to original tabletop models and painting schemas.

The results are:
- New shields decals for gor and ungor units reflecting different tribes iconography
- Reworked some specular textures (in particular the brass components, now more similar to brass than gold)
- Reworked faction colors scheme, expecially the skin colors ( nomore anemic-white cows)
- Reworked factions icons and banners (thanks to [HN] who inspired me with his spectacular banner mod)



A lot of you know me, and you know that when I plan lore-friendly goodies I do lore-friendly goodies ...
I was a Warhammer Fantasy Battle miniatures collector and painter since I was a child and I collected a lot of miniatures of different races (Empire, Dwarves, Orcs and Goblins and High Elves).

The main guidelines I used to make heraldry and shields decals are taken from all recent warhammer fantasy official documentations and artworks (in this case the 7th edition Beastmen Army Book).
Every textures was wisely edited keeping always in mind these documentations and, if missing, keeping always in mind lore standards.
The fundamental principle that guided my work are:

- Gor usually use more complex glyphs and icons on shields
- Ungor use simpler design for shield decorations

The new heraldry shields emblems are available for all Beastmen tribes:


GRAPHICS AND VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS SUGGESTIONS

I suggest people to use Reshade [reshade.me]. With this new FX Injector you can directly create your custom profile.
Please, read the Reshade instructions and installation process in the official site forum.

To load the preset on Reshade click "HOME" key, then you will see a bar with a "+" at the top , click the "+" key and add my preset.



This mod is a part of a big lore-friendly retextures project. Other uniforms and heraldry will be realized for other faction too and probably those graphical mod will be used for a possible new regional recruitment system... soo do not forget it! ;)

@Destroyer Of Skulls: all beastmen skin textures use a mask (not only Cygor, Giant etc...), The new faction color that I edited match well with those models . Maybe Ungor are not good as I intended. This probably will need a modification to base_color texture. I will take some time to think for the best solution

Cygors, Giants, Razorgors, Minotaurs and Ungors are still affected by faction colors, is there any plans to address this? A bit jarring for me to see the rest of the army look normal while those units look like they have sunburns while using the Slaughterhorn Tribe.

The beastmen factions of Malagor and Morghur use the same faction icons, banners, and uniform designs as khazrak's faction in quest-battles, both on the selection screen and in the actual battles, so far this is the only bug I have spotted in this mod.

A uniforms & heraldry for the Chorfs would be genuinely majestic, but I understand that you're porting all the other uniforms and heraldry mods before you decide to maybe tackle the new factions

It's important for ranchers to know what type of nelore, brahman or wagyu cattle they're getting.
