This add-on is the latest version of Metrostroi packaged as a workshop download, for those who don't know how to fiddle with GitHub, git, and manual add-on installations. The content packs of the main Add-on are still required! Please uninstall the original script add-on as it would conflict with this one! I repeat: THIS ADD-ON CONFLICTS WITH THE MAIN METROSTROI SCRIPT ADD-ON!

The version on the Metrostroi GitHub Page [github.com] is more recent than the one on the workshop. Perhaps a developer might consider updating the workshop upload, after two years worth of occasional updates. In order to view a change history, please see the "commits" on the GitHub Page to get a sense of what has changed since the 2022 release.


If you're curious about what makes Metrostroi tick, check out the Unofficial Metrostroi Coding Wiki [github.com]. It contains guides on how to get started making trains for Metrostroi, what most functions in Metrostroi do, different aspects of train development, coding and modelling.
If you need a version of Metrostroi that is up to date but doesn't contain loads of scripts that you don't need while developing your train, please look on the workshop for "Metrostroi Lite".
