WHummus' Calamity/Thorium Balancing

Description
A mod that utilises tPackBuilder to create as cohesive an experience possible between the Thorium and Calamity mods!

Changes include:
  • Modifying item recipes to fit into Calamity progression
  • Adding recipes to keep Thorium and Calamity recipes consistent
  • Stealth strikes for Thorium Thrower weapons
  • 3 Weapon Reworks (Mycelium Gatling Gun, Calamity Bell and Radio Mic)
  • Balance changes to Vanilla, Thorium and Calamity weapons with the aim to make every weapon viable and fun to use for when they are available

    Update version 1.2.4.3:
  • Re-added the Lodestone Javelin, Valadium Throwing Axe and the Chlorophyte Tomahawk, all re-balanced
  • Added stealth strikes for all 3 of the re-added weapons
  • Nerfed the Zephyr's Ruin

  • Made the Molten Knife uncraftable
  • Replaced the Molten Knife with the Infernal Kris in the Light's Anguish and Embowelment recipes

  • Buffs for the Will of the Ragnarok and Hydrogen Sulfide
  • Nerfed the Butcher's Chainsaw
    Ported from Infernal Eclipse of Ragnarok
  • Converted the Burning Sky to be a Radiant weapon costing mana

  • Reworked the Gelatin Therapy to instead of firing one bouncy shot that can heal multiple times, it now fires a buckshot of single heal balls
  • Removed Cursed Cloth from the Death Whistle recipe
  • Removed the Strange Alien Motherboard from normal gameplay
  • Adjusted the recipes for the Marble Scythe, Volt Hatchet and Overloaded Sludge to use less Enchanted Marble and Empowered Granite
  • Separately adjusted the recipe for the Marble Scythe to make the recipe more interesting to obtain
  • Buffed Tidal Wave
  • Nerfed the Ally healing of Purgatorium Pandemonium
  • Fixed the tendrils from Grasp of Void to have local immunity frames so each one can hit the same target individually, making it better against single targets
  • Made the Drum Stick unobtainable and made the Emblazoned Drum Stick craftable with Divine Geode instead

  • The Cobbler NPC now sells the Lasting Pliers and the Blacksmith NPC now sells the Ebon Hammer, making both those NPC drop weapons far more easily accessible

  • Changed Executioner Mark 05's hit explosion to use the same projectile as the base supernova, now correctly inflicting Miracle Blight and using multiplied base damage, so it can now crit and gains benefit from buffs and reforges
    Ported from Infernal Eclipse of Ragnarok
  • Added the tree merges for the Elemental Quiver, Hypersonic Tuner and Elemental Bloom
  • Ported the change to the Elemental Gauntlet's recipe
  • Ported localisation for shared content
  • Fixed the port of the omni-shield changes to work correctly

  • Added a stealth strike for the Fire Axe
  • Healer's Iridescent armor set now requires the Arcane Armor Fabricator to craft, moving it from pre-boss to post EoC so give other armor sets more time to be useful
  • Removed 3 defence, 1 from each piece of the Jester's armour set to better suit being post EoC now
  • Nerfed the technique point cost of Shadow dance from 4-5
  • Buffed the Blacksmiths barrier defence increase from 2-4
  • Buffed Icy Arrows damage from 5-7 to match Frostburn
  • Buffed the Rem's Revenge
  • Celestial Wand nerfed
  • Healing amounts buffed for a set of pre-hardmode Thorium Items, such as Large Popcorn, Gauze and Recovery Wand

  • Removed thrower content from this mod such as stealth strikes and thrower merges
  • Thrower unification however is now a hard dependency, as all of this mod's thrower merge and stealth strike content is ported to there!

@Arcane- Not to worry this is intentional. Considering the way the weapon works it is still overall a big upgrade to the original in buffs and DPS

@DragonIce·FrostFire The long term plan is that weapons that have fatigue will slowly be swapped out to have ambush attacks instead one by one, so the end goal is for every thorium and calamity throwing/rogue weapon to have ambush attacks instead of fatigue. Can't put a time on this but it is in active development.

Weapons that don't consume fatigue or don't have ambush attacks currently have a 1.75 velocity and damage boost on ambush for now as a placeholder but these too will get full ambush attacks eventually

"Will weapons that consume fatigue have ambush attacks? I noticed such weapons are simply modified to deal thief damage, and not all consumables have ambush attacks. Will this be added later?"

@liam.hastings1 As of the update just gone (v1.2.4.1) this issue should be fixed unless any further mods than Fargo's or Secrets of the Shadows changing boot recipes, thanks for the report!

Are there supposed to be 2 terraspark boots in the crafting tree? One to craft the thorium particle sprinters and another to upgrade the particle sprinters.

@Krusty Pope Thank you for the report, just pushed an update now (v1.2.3.3) that should fix this issue, hope the rest of the playthrough goes smoothly!

So, I figured something out. The bug seems to not affect accessory slots after the celestial onion's, I figured that one out after enabling the mutant pact tweak mod (I'm playing with fargo's too, and it fuses the celestial onion and the mutant's pact accessory slots into one). I'll be playing like this for the time being.

I don't know why, but having the shields merged causes the Asgard's Valor to bug and make it so I can't move my character at all, even reseting flight time whenever I equip it, deactivate all vanity slots and I think a couple buffs too. This might be a compatibility issue with another mod, but the problem is solved when I turn off the merged shields option in the mod's config, so idk.
