Going In Blind: Blueprint Edition

Description
This is an edited version of the Going in Blind mod, originally made by Mine Eyes Which Are Dry aka Mack the Knife and Sly. This allows you to still see the blueprint of buildings, while keeping locked doors and window blockers ambiguous. It also changes the outside fog color to a cool grey.

This mod will clash with Doors Aren't Cover for locked doors, so if you plan to use them together, load this second. Locked doors will still be solid, but unlocked doors won't be. May create an addon in the future for compatability.

I initially was going to include Rake's Infinite Blue FOV by default, but decided against it since you can still use it alongside this without any conflicts. So highly recommend it if you're not already subscribed.

CREDITS:
Mack the Knife aka Mine Eyes Which Are Dry: original author of Going in Blind
Sly: For figuring out how to do the all black FOW
Rake5000: For his edited Going in Blind version that I initially used as a reference

In response to Kayth, I've actually asked the devs about that option and they said it's been requested enough that they've considered it.

Damn, thanks for the response, even if disappointing. I think that would be premiere.

@Kayth Not possible afaik. I've tried digging around myself and playing with some of the files to see if I could achieve it and couldn't make anything stick. Pretty sure the original GiB authors had also looked into it and couldn't figure it out iirc.

Sweet, this is much closer to what I wanted from the original mod!

Can you tell me if there is a way to have the exterior of buildings revealed, but interiors blind? That is ultimately what I would like, but haven't looked into modding at all.

@Lurkkin Re-enabling the mod puts it last in your load order, meaning my mod will now overwrite whatever mod you were using before that edited the same files. If you're just using unit mods though, that's an odd one. Wouldn't think a unit mod would mess with the xml the doors are defined in lol
Lurkkin 6 Apr @ 5:16am
@Narcotics Apparently it was a false alarm. I'm not sure what was causing the issue because I haven't changed my load order and the only mods I'm using are unit mods, but I just re-enabled this mod & it worked this time.

@Lurkkin You're using another mod that overwrites it then.

Killer mods! If you need anything for compatibility with Doors Aren't Cover let me know because that's the one I made.

Very nice, a good compromise!
