Muskingum Electric Railroad 100

Description
*Check for the mod group on my workshop page for all the MERR liveries in one place*

MERR #100 was one of two of the Muskingum Electric Railroad's locomotives in service on their roster. Both units shuttled coal trains from the mine at Cumberland Ohio to the power plant near Relief Ohio.

Built in 1968 by General Electric, the pair where based off of the PRR's successful E44 class of locomotive. The units boasted an impressive 5000 horsepower and ran (in theory) completely autonomously in two trains, each with 15 cars. Both E50c's ran from 1968, when the mine opened, until 2002 when the last of the coal had been mined out and the railroad was pulled up. Neither locomotives where preserved.

Take a look at the rest of the Muskingum Electric Railroad liveries I've done in the collection.
