Mod Description
This is a mod that plans on creating a Playable Great Khan, where you start as a small Khanate that eventually becomes the Great Khan himself and conquers the galaxy.

Origin: Scourge of the Void
"Before the stars were mapped and borders drawn, we roamed. We did not build — we took. We did not sow — we reaped. From the broken bones of dead empires, we rose — a storm of fire and steel. The stars are our hunting grounds, the void our home. We are the Khanate."
Long ago, your ancestors fled a dying world, cast into the stars with nothing but their fury and iron will. For centuries, they lived as nomads, surviving by plunder and scavenging, divided into feuding warbands.
But now, a Khan has risen — a warlord of unmatched vision and ferocity. He claims the title of Great Khan, uniting the scattered tribes under one banner. His voice is law, his ambition boundless.
He declares a truth older than stars: that all under the blue sky belongs to the Khanate. The stars are not for the meek or the civilized — they are the rightful inheritance of the strong.
A manifest destiny burns in his heart, one that will see the galaxy bowed, broken, and remade in the image of the Khan.
The Great Khan rides again. And this time, there will be no one left to stop him.

A unified empire consisting of various marauder clans that have all sworn fealty to a single Khan.

Civic Requirement: Galactic Hordes
"Born under endless skies, our people mastered war from the saddle of starships. We do not build walls — we ride beyond them. The galaxy is our steppe, and it shall bow to the will of the Khan."
A nomadic warrior society built on honor, conquest, and swift raids. Unlike typical marauders, Galactic Hordes maintain diplomacy and federation access while embracing their raiding heritage.

Access to Unique Vassal Types
Vassal Types
Machinesmith: Grants the Great Khan additional technology in exchange for being left alone
Fabricator: Pays an alloy tax and produces fleets for the Khan in exchange for being left alone
Dominion: Pays a lesser mineral and energy tax, fights alongside the Great Khan in exchange for "protection"
Satrapy: A Subject type continuing the traditions of the Great Khan, obligated to provide both ships and resources

Army Type: Banner Armies

Ability to conquer techs and relics from defeated empires (planned feature)

Succession System
Upon the death of the Great Khan:
Great Khan's Vision Civic is downgraded to Legacy of the Great Khan
The Successor gains a lesser Great Khan Trait



Final Government Form
If the Great Khan becomes Galactic Emperor, the government changes to:
Galactic Khaganate the final form


Events
When you pick the Wrath of Khan Ascension Perk every Empire ai and Player shall receive the Drums of War event which will be your empire.

When the Great Khan dies there will be an event and a successor

When the Great Khan becomes and emperor there will be an event of him or her reaching there final form
