@orschild Really? That's an odd one, never experienced anything over like 80. If you could try to give me a hint as to what type of maps they are, I can try to tone it down for that/those specific one(s) but the enemy distribution upper limit is actually lower than they have it in vanilla ToDs (mine is 10, vanillas is 12) so it wouldn't surprise me if another mod is playing a part. I honestly prefer it even lower but you have to have them high to get the rewards unfortunately (bonus stars, intel, bonus honor, etc)
When I played around with the "Enemy of Russian" mod I recall that there was some file that edited how many troopers there should be. It is a bit excessive when the enemy outnumber you with a ratio of 1:50 and being near peer enemies with both NV and super lethal aim.
If I can figure out why it does that (tbh this could be another mod that causes it) I would change it to not have the large maps be crowded like a convention. .
