Motorsport Manager 2025 Season (Vanilla Overhaul)

Description
I’m back! With a new season mod! So, what’s new this time?

I have added new drivers (mostly in single-seaters), made F2 and F3 themed models, shuffled some existing teams around and added some new ones.

However, the biggest change is to the Endurance Series. A class and B class are no longer concurrent. As in, they no longer race simultaneously and have their own separate calendars.
Think of it as IEC is WEC Hypercar/IMSA GTP whilst IEC-B is ELMS LMP2.

I should point out three things about this mod:
• This is a Vanilla themed mod! No real life drivers or teams found here!
• This requires the Vanilla Retro/Fantasy Livery Pack (enable this and only this livery pack!)
• This mod comes files that are necessary in order to function. You must install those in the game’s directory. Instructions are included down below.

How to install this mod (This is necessary! DO NOT IGNORE!);
Step 1: Subscribe and download the mod

Step 2: Right click Motorsport Manager on Steam and go to Properties > Installed Files > Browse (this opens up the location where the game is installed. Keep note of it. You will come back to it later)

Step 3: Head to following address line in Windows Explorer
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\415200\3456436582\MM25_Main_Files

Step 4: Copy resources.assets and Managed in the MM25_Main_Files folder.

Step 5: Head back to the game’s installation. Open the MM_Data folder and paste those files you copied earlier into that folder, overwriting the existing files.

Step 6: Boot up the game and enable the mod via Motorsport Manager’s in-game workshop tab.

To Linux users! The process is very much the same, except you must use compatibility layer.

I've included an instructional video if you're still struggling.

June 17th Update: Optional File regarding tyres now added

This update includes an alternative resources.assets file that relabels the entire tyre range and alters the available compounds for certain circuit layouts.

It's found in steamapps\workshop\content\415200\3456436582\Relabelled Tyres [Optional]

Basically; Supersofts to Superhards instead of Ultrasofts to Hards.

Like F1, the WMC's dry weather tyre compounds will all be Soft, Medium, Hards with red, yellow and white as their respective sidewall UI colour.

One last thing that's worth mentioning:
Motorsport Manager only allows up to 50 subscribed items! Go over that limit and mods won't load!

And, you’re good to go! Enjoy.

So, I'm currently playing on Mac. Once I open the Browse section, there's no MM_Data folder for me. Where do I find the folder? Thanks in advance!

@thisMandi

Did you install the mod properly? I have stated in the description that there are extra steps required.

The starting date is still 2016, so the drivers are all teenagers. Any way to sort this out?

Update people. There's an optional file that focuses on tyres.

Thanks a lot Djangles!

OK. Over 650 subscribers is enough for me to warrant uploading the F2 car.

Now for some belated replies:

@Goblin - There's a setting under HD Models. Open up the Mod Manager overlay and select that.

@sebastianklasik85 - Tweak the Race Difficulty slider and find what is best for you.

@HKR03 - The name changes are more in line with Motorsport Manager Mobile 4's driver roster.

Very cool, glad to see this 'series' back!

Is there a specific reason you changed the names of a couple of characters compared to their 2023 counterparts (Ai Tsukada to Yaeko Onodera and Joanna Clay to Tony Fiore are the first I noticed)?

Also is there a limit on the amount of races you can have in a season? I remember reading somewhere that 18 is the limit, but that clearly isn't true

Hi what difficulty do you reccomend to use in WEC to make it realistic?
