Unique Trait: Tsar of the Romans
Conquering cities expands the borders of already captured cities. Under a Peace Treaty, tiles acquired and cities founded by the enemy Civilization are conceded to you. Acquiring tiles during war generates Golden Age Points.

Unique Unit: Bagatur
The unique Bagatur replaces the Horseman for Bulgaria under Simeon I. Unlike the Horseman, the Bagatur may be used to perform a ranged attack before combat if beginning its turn in enemy territory. If a Bagatur is killed in combat in your territory, adjacent friendly Mounted Units have 25% of their HP and all their Movement restored. This includes Civilizations with whom you have a Declaration of Friendship or Defensive Pact, and Allied and Friendly City-States. The Bagatur also does not receive a penalty to attacking cities. Deploy hordes of Bagatur against your enemies to maximise their potential.

Unique Building: Literary School
The Literary School is the unique University replacement for Bulgaria under Simeon I. Like the University, the Literary School boosts a city's Science output. In addition, the Science generated from the Specialists worked in the Literary School contribute toward Culture as well. During Golden Ages, Science modifiers in this city also reduce the Culture cost of acquiring new tiles. Build Literary Schools to enhance your empire's cultural expansion.
