Funky Kong

It's Funky, the main monkey! A Kong known for his relaxed attitude, he uses a variety of weapons to fight. His main tool is his surfboard, which really packs a punch. His specials use a few other things, too. He's not a big fan of adventuring, but that by no means implies he lacks skills!



Fires a coconut projectile to disrupt foes. By pressing the special button after firing a projectile, you can fire more. Up to 3 projectiles can be fired per use of the move.


Funky uses his biplane to lift himself into the air. Touching the propellers hurts.


Launches a strong projectile. The weapon used to defeat King K. Rool in Donkey Kong 64. Presumably a modified version of the Pineapple Launcher used by Chunky Kong. This move can be charged to increase power and speed.


Slaps the ground to hit foes with shockwaves. In the air, the move can spike opponents.

(Creator’s notes: He’s baaaaack. He’s… a <i>little</i> prettier this time. He took a minute, but was actually really fun to work on this time. I’ve almost got all the characters that were wiped a while ago back in action. 2 more to go. There are updates I want to do for other characters too. Back to the point, everyone likes Funky Kong, right? Those are the rules. I think I captured some personality pretty well. Like I said, this one was fun. Sprites by J-dudd.
