In the year 2020 AD, the United States of America found itself entangled in a Cold War-era morass with Iran; a mysterious virus swept from central China to every corner of the globe; Russia, Saudi Arabia, and others grappled with oil market upheavals; while the Syrian civil war descended into renewed chaos.

Across America, internal tensions reached a boiling point, plunging the nation into profound turmoil as the faintest spark threatened to ignite catastrophe. An obstinate government increasingly trapped Congress and the populace in a bubble of disillusionment. Confusion spread nationwide, with gun ownership reaching astronomical levels.
The worst was yet to come...

Flames rise, and the world that follows lies in your hands. Eighty years of global peace now stand on the brink of collapse. Wars across continents will forge a new world—an order born of fire and tempered in the blood of millions.

Imagine fighting in the sandstorm-ravaged Yemeni civil war amid this era of turmoil; or stepping into the breach as China teeters between economic collapse and political upheaval, reforming a nation caught between a rock and a hard place. Alternatively, shift your gaze to the Balkans, the Korean Peninsula, or South America—regions yet to take center stage on the world’s theater—and script their destinies.

This is what we at TFX aim to explore. We delve deeper into the mature world of TFR, bringing fresh perspectives and compelling content. Currently, we are crafting playable content for PRC and Ansar Allah. Our beloved Korea and North Korea teams are also hard at work, enriching our players’ experience with additional flavor and content across East Asia. Meanwhile, our European team is actively developing Nordic nations like Sweden and Finland—not to mention our Balkan team, which has already begun creating content for Serbia and Bosnia. We are also incredibly fortunate and honored to welcome other development teams into our fold. Dear friends from the Hungarian submod and the TFR Expanded Ukraine team have enthusiastically contributed their talents and content to our shared vision.

The Fire Redux (TFX) is not a reset or a revision of The Fire Rises (TFR), but an expansion. We seek to broaden the vision already established by TFR, adding even more flames to its blaze. From the sweltering, forgotten corners of Yemen to Finland’s frigid snowfields, every story will be told. Only one question remains—are you ready?
