Peaks n' Pits

Description
High-perched Bricktrons look down upon their lowland brethren. Will the lowly Bricktrons rise up in revolt? With both kingdoms having vast resources, the real question is: which one will use them better?

A map with a clear division between two kingdoms, the high skies and the deep trenches. With numerous connections, one faction lives atop snowy mountain peaks with formidable paths for strategic attacks and a extra amount of resources. Meanwhile, the other lives in harmony with nature, significantly aided by countless natural defenses and very few invasion routes.

The Sky People must defend against five different paths that lead to their crystal, but they are compensated with excavation incentives that ensure they will have plenty of stone to build walls regardless. The efficiency of where and how they build their defenses is what will determine their fate. More resources, but more danger and complexity.

On the other hand, the Lowland People have many mountains that can be dug into to form archer towers, natural plateaus that serve as barriers, and a much simpler, more direct terrain to defend, with only three access paths to their crystal. This faction also has access to more Shards.
    Tips:
  • The Sky People have access to a special area on the left side of the map, with 4 shards and valuable resources, but this can be contested if a simple bridge is built. So protect and make the most of it if you're playing as the Sky People!

  • Dig elevated tunnels around mountains to make use of archers and other long-range units.

  • Most crystals in the bottom half of the map are much easier for the Lowland faction to reach.

  • The amount of resources on this map is vastly greater than on any map from the original game.

This map took countless hours to design, with a strong focus on 1v1 gameplay. Although it's based on the original Stepping Stones, its gameplay is unlike any other map. Crafted with gameplay as the top priority, it's meant to be a fresh experience for anyone who's grown tired of this unfortunately abandoned gem that is Castle Story.

Hope you enjoy!
