Description
Coming up with new functionality for vanilla items instead of just adding new ones — creating connections between them, that is what I really like.

Today, I’ve got another simple mod that links Tombstones and BONES. Just a little extra grind for your adventures.

Think of it as a source of random low-tier loot in exchange for those easy-to-find bones from dungeons. Don’t treat it like routine work — it’s more of a bonus collectables hunting.

- Tombstone now has a CHAT function — bring some bones and get a small reward for your efforts, or don`t.
- A large pool of various useful and not-so-useful items.
- Update the loot table from time to time for balance and variety of items.

I'm glad to hear that. I hope you have a great time with it, just as I've had. :qudpog:

Thank you so much for these words. It’s truly inspiring. I consider Qud to be one of the most expansive and interesting roguelike RPGs, and I really enjoy playing it. For the most part, I create things that I would personally like to see in the game, and I end up using all of my own mods (and many other mods from other talented folks too). I'm happy to see that they are useful to others and that you guys enjoy with what I do!

I get it, so many ideas, so little time. Feel free to do whatever you feel like doing, don't feel pressured because people are suggesting something or not, the most important thing is doing what you like. I wish you all the best and will keep an eye on your projects, I'm excited to see where you go.

I have plans for several large mods, with quests, strange items, and wierd functionality. But I recently got into modding, and right now I'm still learning the functionality of QUD. I'll add this idea to my long list of ideas.
Nano neuro zombie sounds like a good idea. Haha!

This might be out of the scope of this project, but I think it would be interesting if maybe you could do a ritual with bones, corpses, blood, etc. and bring a creature back from the dead as an ally? Just an idea, I'd like to hear your thoughts!

Yes, the same thing happened with the tar-encrusted bones; ancient bones aren't working too. I'll fix that in the next update. It's a great idea to give them different loot lists based on their rarity. As for remains and corpses, haha, there was an idea to make it possible to throw all dead leftovers into pits, but I think that's going overboard)) anyway, I'll finish the remaining bones for the next update, and I have a few interesting assorted items that I don't know where to put—they might end up in the mod's loot pool. We'll see. Thanks for the ideas and the interest!

Decided to try taking my ancient bones to a tombstone but couldn't figure out if those don't work, or if I was doing it wrong. Wished in some regular bones and those work. Really cool little thing, btw. Maybe the ancient bones could give better items on average? Now that I'm thinking of it, do/should flattened remains/mouldering corpses be usable this way, too? Just some thoughts. Great work!

Yes! Expanded functionality is always great!

Yes, everything is safe, but only newly found Tombstones will work.
