Valvo Rail Systems Lynx Lynx Class 353 Electric Mainline Locomotive

Description

Valvo Rail Systems, subsidiary of Valvo Motors, presents to you brand new mainline electric locomotive, the almighty class 353 Rys Ostrovid (Lynx Lynx)!

Description
"Say no to Vectro-nism! You have better choice-the Lynx Lynx from Valvo Rail Systems!" J. de Huhnor, editor of The Daily Railroad of Savyer

After success of modernised class 350 designed for budget rail transport, top managment of Valvo Rail Systems decided to enter into first league of rail transport. Objective: take on and dethrone current king-Siemens Vectron.

So Valvo Rail Systems assembled team from class 350 project experts and R&D engineers to design and manufacture new market leader. While still paying tribute to original 350 in terms of design, they made new locomotive from scratch with modern design accompanying the newest and very best technologies. And result?

The most powerful single frame electric locomotive available on market

Nominal power output 8.5 MW, with peak power going over 9.5 MW and top speed 240 km/h, the 353 must be accounted as though rival to beat. That all packaged in modern and agressive looking bodywork. Top notch QLED/Laser headlight units are obvious thing. Also with special reversing graphics (if locomotive is moving in opposite way as is master cab facing) and automatic DRL only/DRL plus low beam switching.

Why nickname Rys Ostrovid? Well, it is nicknamed after biggest wild cat living in Europe and particulary at Slovakia. Biggest similiarities are their strength, speed and silent movement. Then there are also some visual similiarities present too.

There is also one novelty solution in cabs-two lever (irl it would be, here they are supplemented by arrow buttons) control, the Valvo Electric ContrOS. This systems minimalises number of controls to absolute minimum, while keeping them in hardware for to be user friendly and intiutive. By right arrow buttons you control Mode Selector, which has 9 positions-4 forward, neutral/emergency/parking brake and 4 backwards. First position either direction sets max service brake-66%. Seconds sets Auto brakes (or regenerative or slow down brake-33%, depends on exact loco-this one has ladt option fitted). Third enables glide mode-traction motors will be disengaged from grid so they will not create big resistance. Fourth position enables throttle. Throttle is operated by arrow buttons on left through set speed adjustable in +-10 km/h range.

Something about machinery space? Of course! Space grade lab clean and tidy, this is place which packs all the very best technology and machinery supplied by main supplier Valvo Electric. Everything isolated and safe to touch (normally accessible without tools) even in normal run under power, this is the safest machinery space in any loco at market. Also it is dream job to work here for mechanics, as everything is made with repairability in mind. Well, they will not see this place much, as this is one the most reliable locomotives on market too. Tested in harsh enviroment of Meier and Arctic, both featuring million kilometre test runs.

After this, you know that there is only one choice, if you are looking for electric locomotive-Valvo Rail Systems class 353!

@Elusive8796 Sadly I left SW shortly after completing this loco since I wanted to work on them, however SW spawned upon me million of bugs, crashes and non working solutions. And this was not first time. It is bothering me last 800 hours in this game. Also optimalization of game. But if youwant I can send you xml file (I already uninstalled SW and I am not planning to get back, but I will keep indirect support alive as long as I could)
