Palm Bay Outpost

Description
A tropical palm jungle hiding a military base. Fight for control of the jungle and it's many bridges. Sprint across knee deep waters and get to cover in the thick foliage.

Inspired by the planet Scarif from Star Wars.

Best played with 90 bots.

Pretty happy with this one. The gameplay is fun and the jungle feels unique compared to many other ravenfield maps. But, since it uses so many custom assets made in the editor (it has something like 5000+ assets), it might be slightly laggy when the players fov contains too many objects. This happens when you are at the edge of the map looking in. The plan was to make the map larger, but I had to optimize it instead. Most players should not notice this lag.

Oh, and if you are worried about bots walking though the bushes, they will not, I placed avoid boxes. They can still hide on the edge of a bush, but can not walk straight through them.

Hope you guys have fun!

@The Muffin Man Not Florida, but still a reference to another place that for some reason is called Palm Bay but does not have any palm trees xD

@1ntuce Yeah, it's not straight forward. You have to replace the file in your mapdescriptors folder. It should be on C:\Users\[your_user]\AppData\LocalLow\SteelRaven7\RavenfieldSteam\MapDescriptors. Then find the png file for your current photo and replace it with another png with the same name [map_name].rfld.png. If you can see the photo when uploading the map from the editor you did it right. But I'm not an expert on this.

@OrganPersson you made this in map editor right? if yes, how did you change the icon of the map? i don't want to have my map's steamworkshop icon looks bad, steelraven didn't make this easy to accessible, thank you.
