The perfect soldier, Akatsuki joins the fray!

Akatsuki is an all-around character who is a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, who's best trait is his strong damage, thanks to his combo game. His pokes and projectile help to give him a solid neutral presence, and his Reflector helps to make his defense very serviceable.


In place of a regular airdash, Akatsuki has Assault from Under Night In-Birth. It has less lag than a regular airdash while being very flexible for recovery due to not putting you into freefall, but in exchange, it can only be steered forward or backward, and it doesn't give the same momentum.



Akatsuki shoots forward an electric sphere. In the air, it will shoot at a downward angle, as well as slightly stall his momentum. Acts as a standard projectile otherwise.


An electric infused kick. Additional special inputs will have Akatsuki kick again, with the third and final hit spiking opponents.


Akatsuki does an uppercut with electricity covering his fist. Standard move of its type.


Akatsuki Blitzkampf's signature parry mechanic. On a successful connect, Akatsuki can choose to either cancel into an invincible attack that special cancels, which lets him get a decent cashout, or cancel into itself to negate multi-hits.
