The whole Mehland is quirky, fun and awesome but requires skill and tricks thus hinting system should be implemented for the lesser minds such as mine :-)
I'm aware you can do it stealing a jammer, and did not wish to patch it because the solution for the two stars involve a very "meh secret" as you so correctly stated :) This way people can solve it using a different approach. But no, neither of these stars requires the jammer and it is not the intended solution.
The intended solution is (total spoiler, don't look if you want to search) to take a platform/cube out of Broken common sense and use them to bring the mine to cut the laser
Still, a walkthrough for the whole Mehland would be appreciated :-)
