British Railways Mark 2 Coaches Megapack (V3)

Description
From the creators of Mark One…

British Railways Mark 2 Coaches Mega Pack V3 - 205 Variants!

The British Railways Mark 2 Carriages were built between 1964 and 1973, in seven distinct tranches, lettered Z, A, B, C, D, E and F. A development from the Mark 1 design, they used an integrated monocoque bodyshell. Unfortunately, due to their extensive use of blue asbestos, preservation was very costly and thus few examples survive compared to the Mark 1 stock.

This mod contains all Mark 2 Coaches ever produced, as well as a wide range of converted variants in stunning detail and a variety of liveries.

Features:
  • Over 200 variants in total, in a variety of prototypical liveries.
  • Ageing
  • Detailed interior with passenger loading
  • Animated doors
  • Optional Central Door Locking indicators (Later coaches)
  • Choice of several different types of air conditioning unit (where prototypical, 2D+).
  • Asset versions included
  • Selection of Pre-formed 'Fictional but Functional' Rakes (as seen on the Mark 1s)
Each variant/livery becomes available at the relevant date. Top speed 100mph, capacity varies per variant.

Early coaches use a jointed-track soundset. Later variants use a continuous-welded soundset without clacks, to reflect the fact that most track had been converted to CWR by that time.

For the Gatwick Express Class 488 trailer sets, converted from Mark 2Fs please see below:

Wow - this is incredible. I dread to think the number of hours which has gone into making these. Thank you!

Thank you so much for that - I had no idea about the Shift-Click to reverse. Obviously not paying attention to the patch notes!

@Quince99 Yes, you can reverse any vehicle by Shift Clicking the coach in the train formation (this has been a feature in TpF2 for about a year now, I think it might've come along with the multi-platforms update).

PS to my previous comment - is there a way to reverse the DBSOs to have them on the rear of a loco-hauled train?

Stunning detail and a completely exhaustive range of coaches offered - thank you. On the downside, it leaves me nothing to do in terms of livery packs! ;-)

It also leaves me with a great many coaches to replace and upgrade in my saved games!

Love these, amazing amount of detail. Are there any plans to add in 'heritage steam' variants like the end stock on railtours or not really? It's pretty minor but the only other thing I'd personally want given what you've already added.
Idk how many other people really care for interior details but I'm always grateful for them, so thanks for all the variation here. Makes it that bit more realistic.
