When I finished making maps for The Talos Principle 2, I was debating on whether or not to return to Talos 1 to make maps for it as well. With the release of Reawakened, it is the perfect opportunity to act upon that.

Admittedly, maps may not be quite as useful as they are in TTP2, considering the smaller sizes of areas and less of an emphasis on exploration. However, these should still be helpful as a reference for those who want to ensure they’ve found everything in a given area.

Each of these top-down maps cover:
  • Main paths
  • Puzzle locations & names
  • Sigils & which puzzle each is in
  • Stars
  • Hub teleporter
  • Computers
  • Messenger tokens
  • Time capsules
  • Developer commentary
  • Bug Reports (In the Beginning)
  • QR codes
  • Paint buckets (potential locations, not always guaranteed)
  • Puzzle mechanics that are outside of puzzles
  • Keys
  • Switches
  • Easter eggs/Secrets
If there is anything missing or incorrect, let me know and I will fix it (I may have missed a few smaller things like some QR codes).


Latest Updates:
5/27/25 - Added Road to Gehenna ★ World. All maps completed!
5/26/25 - Added Road to Gehenna World 3 & 4.
5/25/25 - Added Road to Gehenna World 1 & 2.
4/23/25 - Added all 3 In the Beginning maps & added a few things I missed to other maps.
4/20/25 - Added C5 through C★ maps.
4/19/25 - Added C1 through C4 maps.
4/17/25 - Added B5 through B★ maps. Changed Time Capsules' labels to show the in-game number.
4/15/25 - Added A★ and B1 through B4 maps. Changed Messenger Sigil to Messenger Token.


Higher resolution versions of maps can also be found on The Talos Principle Wiki[taloswiki.org] which actively has hard-working community members compiling everything there is in the game. Go and check it out!

When this project is finished, I plan on uploading the higher resolution versions to my Ko-Fi (Steam limits file sizes to only 2MB). If these helped you out, please consider leaving a tip on Ko-Fi.[ko-fi.com]

also i found paint in a6 near a ladder to a door too far puzzle, closer corner to teleport

I can also confirm that I'm getting invalid URL errors.

To anyone seeing this - Could you do me a quick favor?

Simply click one of the maps in this guide and let me know if it is giving you an "Invalid URL" error. This seems to be happening to some people, including myself, across all Steam guides for a few weeks now. I am not sure how widespread it is. Let me know if it is happening to you as well.

Pretty minor and obscure, but there's a commentary node inside the "Dark Side of the Moon" secret area in B5.

Anyway, I do have another correction on World 1 of Road to Gahenna, there 7th piece of the statue is misplaced on the map, it should be on the corner closer to the gate of The Swapper

I just realized I commented on missing stuff but never thanked you for the incredible work, so thanks, this guide and the one for the second game have been incredibly helpful to me

@Rui Thank you for the kind words! I am considering adding the messenger worlds at some point if I get the free time. The hub & tower would likely be a big challenge due to the verticality and how much of it is interior. Right now my priority for these will be updating them with any QR codes I missed which others have pointed out.

Hey Mesolimbic, that's an incredible job right there! I'm going to crosscheck everything I found against your maps! Out of curiosity, are you planning to add a map for main hub and / or the messenger puzzle areas? I ask this because there are also stars / time capsules in those areas. It's no big deal if you don't though. Again, tremendous job!
