Description
I've noticed a severe lack of AK as AR2 replacement mods (besides Wood 'N Steel and AK-74), so I decided to port one myself.

So, this mod replaces the default HL2 AR2 with the AR1 (AKM) from the Missing Information 1.6 mod.
The gun is fully functional, both the viewmodel and worldmodel work correctly, and is still capable of launching energy balls.

UPDATE - added shell casing ejects to both models. Reduced the size of the worldmodel since it turned out to look ridiculously large.

Credit, of course, goes to the Missing Information development team. I only ported the model, fixed it up to work in the base game and added a better sounding reload sound.

!!! NOTICE !!! - I have discovered that, for some insane reason, Workshop breaks custom collision meshes on AR2 replacements, forcing them to use the default one. So if you want a correctly working one, I recommend doing a local copy of this mod (.vpk file) and placing it in hl2/custom folder.

Good to hear that it works now. Sadly, as weird as it may sound, I don't really think there is a way to shrink the muzzleflash, and other such attachments. At least I haven't found a way

yeah sorry i think i just needed to reinstall the mod it works now great tough the muzzle flash is a bit too big like really big so much that it would be as long as the gun it self or half of the guns length, thats how big the muzzleflash is

I've just tested the mod again, literally a second ago. Everything works correctly on my end.

Are you using any other mods besides this one? It might be an issue with a mod overwriting this one. Please ensure that the AKM mod is at the top of the modlist in the "Subscribed" in the "Workshop" menu in-game, and then test again.
