Following the uprising that formed the FPR, the council sought ways to protect the freedoms they had so desperately fought for. The result: the formation of the Free People's Republic Navy, and its backbone ship, the Omicron Class Heavy Cruiser. Often seen at the lead of FPRN task forces, the Omicron became a symbol of freedom and security for all those within the Republic. The ship itself sported the heaviest armor and firepower of any FPR ship. It's interior was notably small for a ship it's size, but the vessels crews often found their living areas quite comfortable despite their small size. now with the coming war in the Proto sector, these vessels may be called upon to defend all the FPR holds dear.

This ship was designed for use on the Prototype PVP server! It is fairly survival friendly minus its subgrid turrets. Its armament consists of 4 quad-barreled assault custom turrets, 2 single-barreled custom artillery turrets, 3 triple-barreled PDC's, 4 artillery turrets, 4 assault turrets, and 2 gatling turrets, as well as a static railgun. The vessel does use scripts, though they are not required for its operation. She has excellent upwards thrust, though no gravity testing has been conducted.
