Actual facts about Tungsten:
- Highest melting point of any metal
- Tungsten is an element (W)
- Tungsten has the second highest melting point of any element (6192* F), falling short of carbon.
- Tungsten can be white, grey, brown, pale yellow, yellow-orange, pale orange, red, and green.
- Tungsten has a submetallic luster. (The way light reflects off a mineral)
- Tungsten is rated at 4.5 on the Mohs Scale. (Hardness)
- Tungsten leaves a white and/or reddish brown streak on a streak board.
- Tungsten has an uneven cleavage. (breaking)
- Tungsten is found in the Himalayas, and is mined through tunnels.
