My new and improved version of the Airspeed AS.58 Horsa II WW2 glider. This is the personel carrier version with seats for 21 Bobs.

Since towing planes is possible but only in multi-player I added a hidden engine and propellers.

The Airspeed AS.58 Horsa II was a British troop-carrying glider used during the Second World War. The type was named after Horsa, the legendary 5th-century conqueror of southern Britain.

The Horsa was used in large numbers by the British Army Air Corps and the Royal Air Force (RAF); both services used it to conduct various air assault operations through the conflict. The type was used to perform an unsuccessful attack on the German heavy water plant at Rjukan in Norway, known as Operation Freshman, and during the invasion of Sicily, known as Operation Husky. Large numbers of Horsas were subsequently used during the opening stages of the Battle of Normandy, being used in the British Operation Tonga and American operations. It was also deployed in quantity during Operation Dragoon, Operation Market Garden, and Operation Varsity. Further use of the Horsa was made by various other armed forces, including the United States Army Air Forces.

As many as 3,799 Horsas were built.

The AS.58 Horsa II featured a hinged nose section that could swing open for loading and fast unloading after landing. The fuselage joint at the rear end of the main section could be detached by cutting eight quick-release bolts on landing to facilitate the rapid unloading of troops and equipment.

The Horsa was equipped with a fixed tricycle landing gear and it was one of the first gliders equipped with a tricycle undercarriage for take off. On operational flights, the main gear could be jettisoned and landing was then made on the castoring nose wheel and a sprung skid set on the underside of the fuselage.

The plane is calibrated to fly 160-200 kph even though it can go faster with the engine and boost.

CONTROLS
Pilot's seat
PgUp/PgDn / Auxiliary (Not Alt): Operate hinged nose cone.
Alt controls
W/S: Variable Throttle.
S: Ground Brakes.
A/D: Ground Steering/Yaw.
Up/Down Arrows / Mouse: Pitch.
Left/Right Arrows / Mouse: Roll.
B / Beacon: Engine boost. Not necessary for an empty plane, but helps with a faster take off and to counter the massive speed losses when manoeuvring. The plane is meant to only use first gear and that usually works even with the boost, but just in case manual gear box might help.
Hold X / Invert Steering: Detach main landing gear. Do this after take-off to reduce weight and drag.
Fire Action 1 / Num 1: Detach rear fuselage. I added a short thruster to move it out of the way after detaching so you can actually exit.

Door and hatch opened with buttons on them.
Since the smaller door is mounted into the bigger hatch that also uses actuators (chains of actuators multiply the floppiness and glitching) I had to make it quite a bit smaller than the door opening for it to be able to close properly so there's a bit of a gap. Usually this type of clipping doesn't cause much of a problem, but I think the collision boxes on the pieces doesn't quite match the actual piece and in combination with a chain of actuators this was the best I could do to get the door to open and close reasonably well.
