Isometric Building Progression Icons

Description
Isometric Building icons visually change as they upgrade!
This mod updates building icons (currently only Empire) to an illustrated isometric style, like earlier Total War games, with visual upgrades as players build improvements. Will publish updates as I complete each race/faction.

Note: Currently this mod uses my icons from the "Building Progression Icons" as placeholders for isometric artwork I've not yet completed for other factions. So if you see the original art somewhere, it just means I have not created an isometric icon for it yet.

Mod Features:
  • Building icons visually change as they're upgraded. Note: Not all icons are modded.
  • Features drawn and generated artwork derived from concept art, screenshots, real WHFB tabletop models, and in-game assets.
  • This mod doesn't impact gameplay balance or mechanics what-so-ever. Cosmetic only!
  • Save game compatible! *Note: Game updates can cause issues with this.

FAQ & Compatibility:

1. Is this mod compatible with Radious or SFO/Grimhammer?
No. Those mods have my original "Building Progressions Icons" mod integrated, which conflicts with this mod.

2. HELP! Why am I having issues with the mod?
Most likely you haven't enabled "Isometric Building Progression Icons" in your Mod Manager, Workshop's borked your download, or you've encountered a mod conflict. Unsub then resubscribe first, then if the issue persists review this troubleshooting guide: https://tw-modding.com/index.php/Troubleshooting

3. When are you adding the other factions/races' icons?
They're slowly being rolled out as they're completed. It takes about 1 month per faction/race.

4. Can I integrate this mod with my own mod/s?
Ask in the comments. I'll always allow "sub-mods" to include this mod for compatibility sake. Otherwise the answer is generally "no," because the result will not be compatible with my mod.

I'm working on Dwarfs at the moment, but over half of my July was spent out of town. I don't know if I can realistically complete ALL races on my own before my interest wanes or another project takes priority, but I'm aiming for the most played factions to be done first.
@Spartan VI Hello! Thanks for You work! Is work on the mod ongoing? Can we still count on all the races represented in the game?

TY for the kind words!

@Kaleson, if someone is willing to make a submod, I wont get in the way. Unfortunately I don't have the time to take on another project like that.

shockingly immersive

Is there a chance there will be an SFO version that is compatible?

Great idea dude. Having just symbols in WH definitely takes away from it a little. Ty for the mod.

Stuff like this adds so much missing character to the game, love it!

It's a combination of Sora generated and my own hand-drawn assets. None of these icons are 100% AI generated on their own.

Was this made using AI?
