Bloodblight Swamp
The Bloodblight Swamp is covered in a haze of toxic muck. Spending mere seconds in the region without adequate protection will mean certain death and may soft lock you out of being able to recover your body if you die. Be sure to stock up on Anti-poison potions before travelling there. An anti-poison potion is made by combining a clay vessel, a harralander and a bittercap mushroom in a Brewing Cauldron. It lasts for 300 seconds.

The vault is located in the southern part of the region. You will need to wade through waist deep rivers of poison just to reach the entrance.

Position your Lodestone directly in front of the vault's entrance, then head inside.

The vault's layout is rather straightforward. There are very few side passages to explore and it's highly unlikely that you'll get lost. Turn right and make your way down to the swampy area below.

A fire wall trap is the first obstacle to overcome.

To the right is a breakable wall with some gold nodes. The left path will take you to a large room with several enemies and a Vault Core.

The Hulk on the left can be pulled without aggroing the others and the Sentinel can be pulled without aggroing the patrol.

Plunder the Vault Core and chest. To the right are some silver and gold nodes, as well as a plant thingy that spews poison over a wide area. You cannot damage the plant thingy.

The next room is covered in a thick blanket of poison. Use the Windstep spell to jump to the other side.

In the next room are 6 enemies spread over 2 levels, but you can only see 4 of them when you enter. There are 3 Sentinels and 3 Hulks. First, pull the Hulks on your right. Then the Sentinel directly in front of you. Next, hugging the righthand wall, make your around and up to the second level. Retreat if you aggro the Sentinel because the fight will quickly become 3v1.

For reference, here are the locations of the two enemies out of sight:

Once all enemies have been defeated there is a Dragonkin Effigy on the lower level, which will provide the Wild Archer Cowl recipe.

On the second level you will find more silver and gold nodes and in the chest will be a tome (in my playthrough it was a tome of magic).

Head through the door and down to the left are a couple more fire traps. Get past both then sneak under the obstacle where you'll find another fire trap on the other side.

Up the stairs to the right is a lever, which unlocks a shortcut back to the start of the vault.

Next, you'll enter a large room with a rat and a silver node tucked away in the left corner. Beyond that is a platform jumping section.

Be careful here because hidden in the green haze is a waiting Hulk.

Continue going straight on and the path will bend up to the left where you'll see a large rock blocking the path. Use the Rocksplosion spell to remove the obstacle.

Jump through the opening using the Windstep spell and you'll find another Vault Core, chest and gold node.

Beyond the Vault Core the path turns left and looks over the area you were just in. Take a deep breath and run towards the fire trap you can see in the distance. A few steps before the fire trap is a gap that you'll need to jump, otherwise you'll land in the toxic sludge on the level below.

Use the Windstep spell to jump over the fire trap and across the gap.

If you're lucky you'll land high up on the wall, enabling a good view of the Sentinel and rats now before you.

Defeat the enemies and interact with the Dragonkin Effigy, which will grant you the Wild Archer Body recipe.

Use the Windstep spell to jump across the gap to engage the Sentinel.

Following the passage will take you to the lever, opening the way to the vault's boss.

Pop an anti-poison position, then say hello to the Plague King, a larger, uglier version of the fluro rats you've had to deal with up until now. You'll instantly get a poison debuff if the boss hits you and you're not protected with anti-poison.

RANGER: Like all melee enemies in this game, the easiest way to fight them is to maintain a healthy distance between them and you. The easiest way to fight this boss is to kite him back to the previous area, jump the gap and shoot at it from range. The boss has no attack that can reach you.

In the boss chamber you'll find a Vault Core, a chest containing a Tome of Cooking and a Dragonkin Effigy, which will grant you the Wild Archer Chaps recipe.

The Wild Archer is a level 4 ranger set with decent stats and is currently the equal best in-game set for a bow wielder.

Leave the dungeon and teleport home. Congrats you made it. Time for a cool beverage.

That’s good to know. The melee weapon on my main is the whip; such a great weapon.

If you have an Abyssal spine in your inventory it gives the recipe for the whip
