Flanking Mounted Units

Description
I have always felt that Mounted Units were under powered. So this mod gives all Mounted and Armor units bonus flank damage.

Features:
All Mounted and Armor units start with a base 20% increase in flank damage.
This flank damage can be increased through promotions ( 25% then later a 30% increase )
In all, Mounted units can achieve a total of 75% increase in flank damage.
Each upgrade also increases open attack by 5%
Lancers, Horse Archers and Giant Death Robots do not receive this promotion.

I'm not sure what you mean by 3rd and 4th component units . .

If you're talking about another mod, please reply with a link to it and maybe we can get something working. ;D

No, Keshiks were not included in this mod as they are ranged units.

I really like both of your ideas, however, I don't think either one is possible. I have nerfed the flanking bonus to balance things out and each upgrade will now give a 5% Open Attack Bonus.

Just a friendly suggestion. I like the mods idea to make cavalry more useful so came up with some ideas seeing as how you were looking for feedback.

For the sake of balance maybe add increased vulnerability to flanking attacks in addition to the bonus. As it stands, this mod makes Cavalry a bit unparalled in strength, allowing them to clear units off the battlefield quite easily; particularly in the Classical, Medieval and Renaissance Eras. I have not seen how it affects Armor yet, but the same basic principles apply.

With the increased vulnerabilty, it adds an increased tactical element to it. 25% seems fair but take that as you will. Cavalry were not terribly effective once they were hemmed in, increased flank vulnerability would reflect that.

One more, arguably unbalanced proposal. Not sure how the coding would work for this, but any cavalry attacking from a hill to a flat terrain marker could be given a small bonus as well. 25% seems a bit heavy there. 10-15%?

Since they already have 50% increased flank damage, thier base flank increase will be 100%.

Would there be an increase from 50% to 100% for hussars as they already have +50%?
